- The BYD eMax 7 Superior variant has features like a 360-degree camera, rotating 12.3-inch display for the touchscreen infotainment system, and powered front seats.
- It is sold in both six-seat and seven-seat guises.
- BYD is offering Level 2 ADAS in the Superior variant.

- All versions of the BYD eMax 7 get six airbags, ABS with EBD, and traction control.
