- Offered with a 59.3kWh battery pack
- Could go into production post 2026
The Toyota Innova EV has been revealed in an updated guise at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2025. This is the second avatar for the vehicle with the first one being showcased in 2022. The exterior design has not changed and it sticks with the Crysta’s design language rather than move on to what’s has been given to the Hycross line of vehicles. The cabin too is mostly unchanged with a bigger touchscreen and a new centre console.

The main news is that some of the specs have been revealed with it getting a 59.3kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 179bhp and an insane 700Nm of torque. They have not revealed a range but we expect it to be in the region of 400-450km on a full charge.

An Innova EV is an inevitable step given that we are moving in the direction of electric cars and everyone will want to play their part in the game. What’s more India is one of the global production hubs for the Innova making a very strong case for the Innova BEV to be produced here whenever it is ready for market sales.
