Mahindra’s recent ICE models have tasted a fair share of success over the years. This has also been the case with the brand’s new all-electric origin SUVs, the XEV 9e and the BE 6. Launched in November 2024, the brand has already delivered over 6,500 units of the SUVs since March 2025.
Notably, only the top-spec Pack Three version has been delivered so far. The other two variants of the SUVs will begin shipping by June 2025. As for the prices, while the Mahindra BE 6 starts at an ex-showroom cost of Rs. 18.9 lakh, the XEV 9e retails at a starting price of Rs. 21.9 lakh.

Coming to the waiting period, both models command up to 6 months of waiting duration for the delivery. As per the trends, the XEV 9e has a higher demand compared to the smaller BE 6.
As for the technical specifications, both EVs come equipped with two battery pack options – 59kWh and 79kWh, with a claimed driving range of up to 683km on a single charge.
