- New exterior design
- Powertrains expected to remain unchanged
The much-anticipated Tata Altroz facelift has been revealed in a new teaser video, ahead of its official launch on 22 May. The video reveals a new face, connected tail lamps, new design for the alloy wheels, pop-out door handles, and a new colour scheme as a part of the package. The interiors were in for a major upgrade as seen last year when Tata launched the Altroz racer, and this is expected to go unchanged in the new car. Some of the major interior highlights include dual digital screens, new climate control interface, and seats. We expect Tata to now add it's new steering dressing as a part of the updates.

The engine and gearbox options are expected to unchanged from the current car. The list includes two petrol and one diesel option. We also expect the dark and racer edition avatars to be launched on 22 May.

The Altroz is one of the last Tata products to get an update in terms of the current model lineup. The upgrade arc began in late 2023, with the Nexon twins being the first to get updated. We have, in a separate story, looked at what updates this 2025 Altroz needs to stay strong in the game. The Altroz is Tata’s premium hatchback, taking on cars like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, and the Toyota Glanza.
